In early 2020, we moved to Slufterhoeve Farm: a wonderfully calm spot in the middle of the Texel farmlands. We believe it is a place that needs to be shared, which is why we first founded our small-scale campsite with plans to expand and incorporate a B&B. We hope to welcome you soon!

Slufterhoeve Farm

Slufterhoeve Farm’s chief operation is arable farming. We mainly grow seed potatoes, wheat, barley, sugar beets, and onions. Notably, our wheat crosses the whole island! After harvesting, it is ground at the Traanroeier Mill, a historic grain mill in Oudeschild. From there, it goes on to the local bakery Timmer, where it is processed into fresh breads that are sold all over Texel. Definitely have a taste during your stay at our campsite!
